The Honduran currency is called the Lempira (pl. Lempiras). Lempira banknotes are issued in the following denominations: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, and 500 Lempiras.

Smaller values are issued as coins, with 1 Lempira = 100 Centavos.

CIRCULATION:
