CURRENCY:
The currency of Poland is called the Zloty (pl. Zlotych). Zloty banknotes are issued in the following denominations: 10, 20, 50, 100, and 200 Zlotych.

CURRENCY IMPORT/EXPORT RESTRICTIONS:
As of June 15,2007 the import and export of amounts exceeding EUR 10,000 or equivilent frm or to countries outside the European Union must be declared.
CIRCULATION:
The Zloty was revalued with the issue of the current series of notes, issued in 1995. The new Zloty is valued at 10,000 old Zloty (1950-1995).
The older notes have been removed from circulation and remain redeemable until 2010 at a rate or 10,000 old zlotych to one new one.
ALTERNATIVE CURRENCIES:
All major currencies are accepted.
