When you need to send funds to another country, whether it is to pay international bills, purchase property abroad, pay foreign tuition fees or even send a payment home to family, Guardian can offer you a competitive exchange rate, and quick, convenient service.

 Please note there is a minimum of $10,000 Canadian or equivalent for this transaction. If you would like to receive less than this amount, we can offer you our Western Union money transfer service. 

 

What do I need to bring for this transaction?

 

Wire Charges

Guardian charges a flat fee of $30 to send wire transfers. 

Please note: the intermediary and/or receiving bank may deduct a charge from the wire transfer amount.

 

Timelines

How soon will the wire be sent?

  • US Dollar wires are sent within 1-2 business days of the transaction.
  • Wire transfers in other currencies may be sent within 3-4 business days of the transaction.

How long will it take for the wire to reach its destination?

  • Wire transfers generally reach the destination within 48 hours of being sent.
