CURRENCY:
The currency of Morocco is called the Dirham (pl. Dirhams).
Dirham banknotes are issued in the following denominations:
20, 50, 100, and 200 Dirhams.
Smaller values are issued as coins with 1 Dirham = 100 Centimes.

CURRENCY IMPORT/EXPORT RESTRICTIONS:
Local currency may not be imported or exported. Foreign currency may
be imported and exported for free.
CIRCULATION:
The current notes were issued in 1987 and 1996. Notes of 10 Dirhams have been replaced by coins.

All major currencies may be exchanged.
