 CURRENCY:
The currency of Bangladesh is called the Taka.
Taka banknotes are issued in the following
denominations: 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, and 500 Taka.   Smaller values are issued as coins, with
1 Taka = 100 Poisha.

CURRENCY IMPORT/EXPORT RESTRICTIONS:
Local currency is limited to 500 Taka for import and export.
Foreign currency may be imported for free, amounts over 3,000 United States Dollars require
a declaration. Foreign currency may be exported up to the amount declared for import.
ALTERNATIVE CURRENCIES:
All major currencies are accepted, as well as Saudi Riyal, United Arab Emirates' Dirham,
Kuwait Dinar, Singapore Dollar and Hong Kong Dollar.
