CURRENCY:
The South Korean currency is called the Won.
Korean banknotes are issued in the following
denominations: 1000, 5000, and 10000 Won.
Smaller values are issued as coins, ranging
from 1 Won to 500 Won.

Import and export of local currency exceeding
8,000,000 Won requires authorization.
Foreign currency exceeding $10,000 US

the most recently discontinued series at a
reasonable discount.
ALTERNATIVE CURRENCIES:
All major currencies are accepted.
