The Taiwanese currency is called the Dollar.
Taiwan banknotes are issued in the following
denominations: 50, 100, 500 and 1000 Dollars.   Smaller values are issued as coins, with
1 Dollar = 100 cents.

Import and export of local currency may not exceed
60,000 Taiwan Dollars.
