THAILAND
CURRENCY:
The Thai currency is called the Baht.
Thai banknotes are issued in the following
denominations: 20, 50, 100, 500, and 1000 Baht.

Smaller values are issued as coins, with
1 Baht = 100 Satang.

CURRENCY IMPORT/EXPORT RESTRICTIONS:
Local currency may be imported for free.
Local currency may be exported for free up to
amounts of 50,000 Baht.
Foreign currency may be imported for free, and
exported for free up to the amount imported.
CIRCULATION:
Guardian International Currency Corp. will buy
the most recently discontinued series at a
reasonable discount.
ALTERNATIVE CURRENCIES:
All major currencies are accepted.
IN THE FUTURE:
A new 1,000 baht note improved by the addition of holographic band
will be issued in November.
