CURRENCY:
The New Zealand currency is called the Dollar.
New Zealand banknotes are issued in the following
denominations: 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 Dollars.
Smaller values are issued as coins,
with 1 Dollar = 100 cents.

CURRENCY IMPORT/EXPORT RESTRICTIONS:
Import and export of currency is free.
A declaration is required for amounts
equal to or exceeding 10,000 NZD.

the most recently discontinued series at a
reasonable discount.
ALTERNATIVE CURRENCIES:
All major currencies are accepted.
NOTE: New Zealand Dollars are used in the following places:
Cook Islands, Niue, Pitcairn Island, Ross Dependancy,
and Tokelau.
