CZECH REPUBLIC
CURRENCY:
The currency of the Czech Republic is called
the Koruna (pl. Korun). Koruna banknotes are issued
in the following denominations: 20, 50, 100, 500,
1000, and 5000 Korun.
Smaller values are issued as coins, with
1 Koruna = 100 Haler.
CURRENCY IMPORT/EXPORT RESTRICTIONS:
A declaration must be made for importing/exporting
currencies equivalent to or greater than
200,000 Korun.
CIRCULATION:
The Czech Koruna was issued in 1993 and replaced the
notes of Czechoslovakia.
ALTERNATIVE CURRENCIES:
All major currencies are accepted.
