The Danish currency is called the Krone (pl. Kroner).
Kroner banknotes are issued
in the following denominations:
50, 100, 200, 500, and 1000 Kroner.
Smaller values are issued as coins,
with 1 Krone = 100 Ore.
The import and export of all currencies is free.
Declaration to Customs is required for amounts exceed EUR 15,000 or equivalent.
All major currencies are accepted.
Although a member of the European Union, the
Danish Kroner is not currently participating
in the
EURO.
