 CURRENCY:
The currency of Gibraltar is called
the Pound. Pound banknotes are issued in the
following denominations: 5, 10, 20, and 50 Pounds. 
CURRENCY IMPORT/EXPORT RESTRICTIONS:
Local and foreign currency may be imported and exported
for free. CIRCULATION:
The current series of notes were issued December 1995.
Older notes issued by the Government of Gibraltar are still redeemable. ALTERNATIVE CURRENCIES:
English Pounds are valued at parity. Swiss Francs, German Marks,
Spanish Pesetas, French Francs, Moroccan Dirhams and USA dollars are also accepted.
