CURRENCY:
The Norwegian currency is called the Krone
(pl. Kroner).
Krone banknotes are issued in the following
denominations:50, 100, 200, 500, and 1000 Kroner.

Smaller values are issued as coins, with
1 Krone = 100 Ore.

The import and export of all currencies is free.
Amounts exceeding 25,000 Kroner must be declared.
CIRCULATION:

ALTERNATIVE CURRENCIES:
All major currencies are accepted.
NOTE: The Norwegian Krone is used as legal tender in
Norway, Bouvet Island, Jan Mayer, Peter I Island,
Queen Maud Land, and Svalbard.
