CURRENCY:
The Canadian currency is called the Dollar. Canadian banknotes are issued in the following denominations: 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, and 1000 Dollars.
Smaller values are issued as coins, with 1 Dollar = 100 Cents.

CURRENCY IMPORT/EXPORT RESTRICTIONS:
The import and export of all currencies is free.Amounts equal to or greater than 10,000 CAD must be declared.

CIRCULATION:
The 1000 Dollar note is no longer being issued but remains legal tender. All outmoded notes are still redeemable.
Guardian International Currency Corp. accepts outmoded notes.

ALTERNATIVE CURRENCIES:
All major currencies are accepted.
